Babar Azam took to social media and updated his fans that he would no longer be the Pakistan National Cricket Team captain. Babar Azam was leading Pakistan in the white-ball format. Despite being one of the best batsmen for Pakistan, Babar Azam was struggling to score runs. Pakistan Cricket Team's form has been a disaster for the last few months. While stepping down from captaincy, Babar Azam said, "I'm sharing some news with you today. I have decided to resign as captain of the Pakistan men's cricket team, effective as of my notification to the PCB and Team Management last month. It's been an honour to lead this team, but it's time for me to step down and focus on my playing role.
