Babar Azam, Pakistan Captain, Wins ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021
Azam has been in superb form in ODIs in 2021, played handy knocks in Pakistan's series victory over South Africa. He also starred with the bat albeit in a losing cause when Pakistan were whitewashed 0-3 by England. He ended as his side's highest scorer with 177 runs in three matches.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021 at the annual awards of the cricket body. The right-hander, who has established himself as one of the top batters in international cricket, scored 405 runs in six ODIs matches with an average of 67.50.
