Pakistan had a disappointing campaign in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 and were knocked out from the group stages of the tournament. The Babar Azam-led side suffered losses at the hands of India and USA, which proved to be the main reason behind their early exit from the tournament. Soon after the 'Green Shirts' were knocked out, a Pakistani journalist Mubashir Lucman alleged Babar Azam of match-fixing and accused him of fixing matches against Ireland, Afghanistan and several other teams. Lucman uploaded a video on his YouTube channel and made all the allegations about Babar Azam. Several Pakistan Players Expected To Be Rested for Home Test Series Against Bangladesh After Disappointing T20 World Cup 2024 Campaign.
