After multiple rain interruptions, Afghanistan managed to get past Bangladesh by eight runs via the DLS method and the winning moment arrived when Naveen-ul-Haq trapped Mustafizur Rahman plumb in front of the stumps. Mustafizur did go for a DRS, but it was not able to save him at all, and ecstatic Afghanistan players ran around the ground as they celebrated the win.
