The right-hander was in some mood for big-hitting as he took apart Ollie Robinson during the Leicestershire vs Sussex County Championship Division Two match on June 26. Kimber struck a total of two sixes and six fours in the over. The Leicestershire batter also completed his century, which came off 62 balls, in the over. With this, Kimber set the record for scoring the most runs in an over in County Championship history. At the end of the over, Robinson's figures read 1/65 after he had begun with 1/22.
