Broadcasters Eurosport have sacked one of their commentators from the coverage of the Paris Olympics 2024 after he made sexist remarks during the time of the women's 4x100 freestyle relay final. Bob Ballard during the event said, "Well, the women just finishing up. You know what women are like… hanging around, doing their make-up." This comment on the international stage sparked an outrage among the people and hence Eurosport decided to sack Bob Ballard.
