With many eyes on the athletics representing a particular country, boxer Cindy Ngamba guaranteed a medal for her ‘Refugee Olympic Team’ at the Paris Olympics 2024. Defeating French opponent Davina Michel in the women's 75 Kg event, Ngamba advanced to the semifinals. With both losing semi-finalists awarded bronze, the Cameroon-born fighter is assured of a medal at Paris 2024.
