Vinesh Phogat, India's ace wrestler who got disqualified at the Paris Olympics 2024 will not be getting a silver medal as CAS has rejected the appeal. Phogat was disqualified for being 100g overweight during the weigh-in for the women's 50kg wrestling final.  Bajrang Punia took to social media and reacted after Vinesh Phogat's appeal for a silver medal got rejected. Bajrang Punia wrote, "Your medal was snatched away in this darkness, You are shining like a diamond in the whole world today. The pride of world champion Hindustan Rustam-e-Hind Vinesh Phogat you are the Kohinoor of the country. Those who want medals, can buy them for INR 15 each."
