PV Sindhu's Paris Olympics 2024 campaign came to an end after she suffered a straight-game defeat to China's He Bing Jiao. The ace shuttler battled it against her Chinese counterpart before losing the first game 19-21. In the second game, Bing Jiao put up a pretty impressive performance to win it 21-14. Sindhu was one of India's medal prospects at Paris Olympics 2024 and this defeat means her quest for a third consecutive Olympic medal has come to an end. Earlier, the famed men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty too were knocked out of the competition.
