Para-Badminton player Sukant Kadam, who won a bronze medal in the 2018 Para-Asian Games, shared a post on social media on July 21, 2024, revealing that his elder brother and his uncle have been denied visas of France. Kadam, who is all set to participate in the upcoming Paris Para-Olympics 2024 next month, was planning to have his family members by his side for much-needed support during the games. But now that the French Consulate General in Mumbai has denied some of them their visas, Kadam has come out to seek help. He also requested the French Consulate to reconsider explaining the situation and tagged Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for assistance.
