Nithya Sre Sivan won the bronze medal in the Women's Singles SH6 para-badminton event at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on Tuesday, September 3. The para-shuttler dished out a dominant show to beat Indonesia's Rina Marlina 21-14, 21-6 to secure a podium finish. This was a maiden Paralympic medal for the 19-year-old. With this medal win, India now have a total of 15 medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024. Nithya Sre Sivan's bronze medal was India's seventh bronze medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
