After Manu Bhaker’s performance, it's Lakshya Sen who delivered on the big day for India. The 22-year-old shuttler started his Paris Olympics 2024 campaign on a positive note winning his first group stage match in men’s singles Badminton event. He defeated Guatemalan shuttler Kevin Cordon 21-8, 22-20. Cordon provided a lot of resistance in the second set, but Sen held his nerves to claim the victory. He will be in action again tomorrow and will look to take advantage of a strong start.
