Avinash Sable qualified for the final of men's 3000m steeplechase event at Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday, August 5. The 29-year-old set the pace early on in the qualification round and clocked a timing of 8:15.43s to finish fifth in his heat. He would look to put up a good show in the final of the event where he would have to face some stiff competition in a bid to secure what would be a historic podium finish.
