It was expected from the chess master of India as Arjun Erigaisi needed less than a point to cross the 2800 ELO rating barrier. Representing team Alkaloid, Arjun faced Russia's Dmitry Andreikin in the fifth round of the European Chess Club Cup 2024, and with a massive win the star created history. Arjun Erigaisi now has a 2802.1 rating and has moved up to the World No. 3 in the live rating list.
