Anahat Singh won the gold medal in the U-17 category at the Asian Squash Junior Individual Championships 2023, China. The youngster got the better of Hong Kong's Ena Kwong 3-1 in the final to clinch the top prize. With this, she also became the first female Indian player to win this title. India in total, had four podium finishes in the tournament with the other three being, bronze medal winners in- Shaurya Bawa (U19 boys), Pooja Arthi (U19 girls) and Aryaveer Singh (U15 Boys).
