American gymnast Jordan Chiles' bronze medal in artistic gymnastics at the Paris Olympics 2024 has come in danger after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) plea by Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu. Chiles initially finished in the fifth spot with a score of 13,666, however, she came third after her coaches and it was discovered that the judges made a mistake in a deduction. However, the CAS concluded Saturday that Chiles was wrongly granted an inquiry because it was not filed within a one-minute limit. Ana Barbosu was in third place with a score of 13.700 before the Jordan Chiles coaches made an inquiry to the judges. USA Gymnastics released a statement and informed about the matter.
