Aditi Ashok on Sunday, created history as she became the first-ever Indian woman to win a medal in golf at the Asian Games. The 25-year-old put up a fascinating show in the first three rounds but could not maintain her lead with Thailand’s Arpichaya Yubol eventually ending up with the top prize on offer. Ashok had missed out on a podium finish at the Tokyo Olympics two years ago but this time, she had her hands on a coveted Asian Games medal.
