The Chinese port city close to Shanghai, China sparked fears of Armageddon as citizens noticed a red blood sky covered under thick layers of fog on Sunday. The rare phenomenon of a red sky that appeared in Zhoushan, shown in the videos and photos taken by many local residents is now making rounds on Twitter.

Eastern China experience unusual weather on Sunday as the sky turned into blood-red colour and was covered under thick layers of fog. Reportedly, the phenomenon occurred by the refraction and scattering of light, most likely from ship lights in the port. The red sky filled the fear of Armageddon among the citizens.
