On Thursday, the Government of India blocked around 67 XXX porn websites. These numbers are in addition to the already pre-existing list of pornographic sites in the country. The order is posted on the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) official website. The government had earlier taken the drastic step to ban porn in India back in 2015, which they uplifted after facing sharp criticism. Then again in 2018, they banned about 800 porn websites. And now, in 2022, they used IT rules to ban these adult XXX websites. Well, Twitterati are having a field day, some celebrating and many crying buckets!
