Watch: Indian Army Officers Give Heart-Warming Farewell to Lieutenant General Kanwal Singh Jeet Dhillon on his Retirement

After serving at various strategic postings in the Indian Army, Lt Gen KJS Dhillon retired on Monday, with his last assignment being that of Director General Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Intelligence). His Indian Army colleagues gave him a warm farewell by following the old army tradition of singing the jolly fellow song.

According to an old tradition of the Indian Army, a retiring officer is lifted and swung in a chair while other colleagues sing the "He is a jolly good fellow" song.  In a video shared by General Kanwal Singh on Twitter, Army officers can be seen giving him a wonderful farewell. The video shows Lieutenant General Kanwal Singh Jeet Dhillon sitting on a chair clapping and singing the song with everyone.
