Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is a Hindu festival celebrated in India to mark the victory of good over evil. According to the Hindu calendar, it falls on the 10th day of Ashvin. The festival is associated with the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama defeats the demon king Ravana, who had abducted Rama’s wife, Sita. The day of Dussehra is observed as the victory of good over evil and the triumph of righteousness over injustice. To mark the day, Odisha sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sculpture of Lord Rama on Puri Beach. Sudarsan Pattnaik shared the photo of his sand sculpture on X, formerly Twitter, with a caption - "Wish you all Happy Vijaya Dasami and Dussehra. Jai Shri Ram..🙏" Vijayadashmi 2023 Wishes: Rajnath Singh, Yogi Adityanath and Other Leaders Extend Greetings on Dussehra as Revellers Celebrate Lord Ram's Victory Over Ravan.
