On Sunday, April 21, a train on fire was observed speeding through a Canadian city with flames reaching high into the night sky. Shocked onlookers recorded the dramatic scenes, reporting that a freight train operated by the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway (CPKC) was travelling through a residential zone in London, Ontario, when its five gondola cars caught fire. Although there were no casualties, the railcar damage was estimated to be worth $25,000. The cars were reportedly transporting old railway ties that were going to be disposed of. After some time, the train stopped in front of an apartment complex and an office building in a residential neighbourhood close to Richmond Street and Pall Mall Street, according to CBC News. Upon receiving information from the locals, the fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire. US Train Derailment Video: Train Reportedly Carrying Gallons of Diesel Derails in Atlanta, Sparks Large Fire.
