A new dating scam alert has recently emerged in Mumbai, gaining a lot of attention from the people within the city. A viral post shared by journalist Deepika Bhardwaj, has garnered attention on X (formally known as Twitter), which shows an incident about the scam, where the victim reported being charged a lumpsum amount. The post indicates that the victim was lured through the dating app, namely Tinder, Happn and invited to the club named The Red Room, located in Andheri West, which was decided by the match where the alleged scam occurred. People are questioning the modus operandi which is believed to have happened to a number of victims who have been exploited. The post shows that bill amounts range from INR 23k to INR 43k. People have also shared their experiences and poorly rated The Red Room in Andheri West.
