US space agency NASA, often shares breathtaking images of our universe, leaving space enthusiasts and sky gazers in awe. In their most recent post, NASA delighted its social media followers with a photo of a ‘space potato.’ Yes, you read it right! The image, captured by the most powerful camera ever sent to another planet, shows Phobos, the larger of Mars' two irregularly shaped moons. In the caption, NASA explained that Phobos is the larger of Mars' two moons. But it is still only about 17 x 14 x 11 miles (27 by 22 by 18 kilometres) in size. It also explains that because Phobos is so small, its gravity is not strong enough to pull it into a sphere like Earth's Moon, thereby giving it a lumpy potato-like shape. Gigantic Jets Over Himalayan Mountains Viral Photo: NASA’s Recent Picture of the Day Showing a Unique Type of Lightning Amazes Viewers.
