In a unique case that has come to light, a man from Bihar’s Bhagalpur was bitten by a Russell’s viper, but he caught the reptile and took it to a hospital in a surprising twist. According to reports, the man, Prakash Mandal, was resting in his home when the snake slithered in and bit him on his hand. However, he caught the snake and brought it to Bhagalpur’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital. In the now viral video, we see Prakash in the hospital premises with the snake wrapped around his neck and its mouth held by him. Confused, concerned and scared patients and doctors look on as he awaits treatment.
