We have seen internet wars and tiffs take place between YouTubers, streamers and influencers. Pakistani-origin YouTuber Harris Sultan claims he was scammed by an Indian video editor. Harris is a popular YouTuber with lakhs of followers on his channel. In a post, he claimed that he hired a "cheap video editor from India." He further alleged that this person tried to scam Harris for money and when he refused to give him the money, the video editor changed Harris’ channel’s name to ‘scumbag beggar.’ Harris then sought YouTube's support on the issue. He also shared a photo of the alleged scammer. YouTube responded to Harris, saying they were looking into the matter. The alleged scammer was identified as Nihal Pareek, who made his account on X private. His profile photo has ‘scumbag begger’ written on it. Followed by a brief break from X, when he made his account private, he has now kept his tweets open again for the online community to know his side of the story. In his bio, he writes, “I am done with it! I don’t want and need to justify myself again and again! I am right and I did right!” ‘Beware of Digital Arrest Scam’: DoT Advises Users To Protect Themselves From Scammers Pretending To Be TRAI Officials; Here’s How.
