A video of a police robot successfully arresting a man is going viral. Felix Delarosa had a warrant out for his arrest due to parole violation. Reportedly, the incident took place in Texas. Felix had an intense standoff with the police and the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, who tried to negotiate with him and get him to peacefully surrender. But he kept resisting. To capture him safely, the officials then used the Lubbock Regional Bomb Squad Robot. In the now viral video, we see the robot approach Felix’s room. Felix tries to fight the robot as well by shooting it and throwing a blanket at it. But the robot uses tear gas to bring Felix out of the room. Within a few moments, Felix climbs out of the room through the window and falls onto the ground. The robot then pins him to the ground. Officers then get hold of him and take him into custody.
