India is celebrating Raksha Bandhan, a day that commemorates the beautiful bond between brother and sister. On this special occasion, sisters tie rakhi on the wrists of their brothers, and in return, they give their sisters blessings and a small token of love as gifts. Sudarsan Pattnaik, the renowned sand artist, marked the occasion by making beautiful sand art on the beach of Odisha’s Puri. He crafted a mesmerising sand idol of Lord Shiva as today also marks the last Monday of the auspicious Sawan Maas. He shared the craft on X and wished for Lord Shiva blessings on every brother and sister on this festival.
