What wouldn't people do for a few extra likes, clicks, and views on social media? Last year, a video surfaced showing parents pushing their children to pose next to an alligator with its mouth open in the Everglades National Park in Florida, United States of America. This old video has recently resurfaced and is doing the rounds on social media again. In the viral footage, we see the parents asking their children to pose beside the open-mouthed alligator, even though its sharp teeth are clearly visible. The children, however, do not wish to stand near it, making them the most responsible visitors in the group. However, the parents insist and even drag one child into the frame. So Unsafe!
Don’t be “that” person.
It’s recommended to stay at least 15 to 20 feet away from alligators to ensure safety. Alligators can be unpredictable and move quickly. pic.twitter.com/tDT8nuw5wY
