She first gained attention in 2021 after sharing a video of herself squatting in front of her house, eating Henan noodles. The difference between her appearance and her native Henan dialect intrigued many people. Fan was adopted as a baby after her Chinese parents found her abandoned in a cardboard box on a street in Pakistan. At the time, her parents were working in Pakistan and they decided to adopt her. They brought her back to their home in Henan, China, and named her Fan Zihe. Even with her striking appearance, Fan sees herself as Chinese and is grateful for her loving parents.
