Scientists Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L’Huillier have been recently awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics "for experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter." A video doing the internet rounds shows students and colleagues coming together to recognise newly named physics laureate Anne L’Huillier. The Lund University Professor learned that she is the winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics and the people are seen cheering and clapping for her in the video. The French scientist accomplished something that only four other women have achieved, starting in 1903 with Poland’s Marie Curie.
