Sharad Navratri 2024 celebrates the divine feminine power of Goddess Durga has begun on October 3 and will conclude on October 12. The festival spans nine days, and each day is dedicated to different forms of Goddess Durga. The devotees perform rituals and offer prayers to the Maa Durga. The festival symbolises the victory of good over evil, marking the triumph of the Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura. To commemorate the first day of Sharad Navratri, the renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik crafted a sand art of Goddess Durga on the beach of Puri, Odissa. He beautifully worked on every detail of Devi Durga, and the divine artwork was nothing less than a masterpiece. He took to X, posted the sand art photo, and captioned it as “Jai Maa.” Take a look at the sand art.
