The annual event is marked to give voice to the fauna and work towards its preservation and conservation. The extinction of creatures may happen due to heating or cooling or sea-level transformations. But in the present day, human-made problems caused by deforestation, overfishing, hunting and pollution have limited some animals to our school books.
