Mumbai and its suburbs continue to witness heavy rainfall early. The city recorded over 300 mm rainfall at various places over a period of six hours from 1:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M. Heavy rains have created a mood for Mumbaikars to enjoy themselves while staying indoors at home. Reportedly, there has been disruption in the bus and train services over the city and its suburb areas. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), also announced a holiday for all BMC, Government and Private schools and colleges in the Mumbai area. Mumbaikars are enjoying the splash of monsoon and are sharing pictures and videos across social media.
