In a tragic incident, a bounce house was lifted into the air to approximately 15 feet, causing the death of a 5-year-old boy from La Plata and non-life-threatening injuries to another child. The incident took place during the Blue Crabs baseball game in Maryland. According to reports, the inflatable bounce house was set up in the right field stands of Regency Furniture Stadium, where the game was taking place, to entertain the children while the team was playing. However, a gust of wind reportedly carried the bounce house over a wall and onto the playing field. This caused the children inside the bounce house to fall out of it and onto the ground.
