In a video that has gone viral, an Uber driver in Bengaluru is seen refusing to turn on the AC, sparking a heated argument with a passenger. The incident shared on X by Dr Atharv Dawar shows the driver getting agitated and demanding Dr Dawar speak in Kannada. Explaining the incident, Dr Dawar said that the driver refused to turn on the AC, stating technical issues. Dr Dawar further explained that the driver initially communicated in Hindi. However, as their argument ensued, the latter demanded he converse exclusively in Kannada and not in any other language, stating they were in Karnataka.
