Given the popularity of pani puri, it's not uncommon for the snack to undergo various experiments. In the realm of unusual food combinations, a vendor has introduced what is being called ‘colourless pani puri’. A video shared by a food blogger on social media shows a pani puri vendor in Bengaluru selling pani puri with clear water. What's surprising is that, despite its lack of colour, the water has a distinct flavour and packs a punch, because of the use of vinegar. The video shows the colourless water being poured from a jar into a disposable glass. Then, the vendor skillfully prepares a plate of delicious pani puri with spicy matar and colourless water. Thanks to this unique twist, the snack has earned the nickname ‘invisible pani puri’ or ‘Mr. India pani puri’. Pani Puri Craze at MasterChef Australia!
