A horrifying and tragic incident took place at a rubber tree plantation in Muaro Jambi Regency, Indonesia. A 57-year-old woman named Hapsah was attacked by a 16-foot python. She was attacked while she was working at a rubber tree plantation. According to reports, the snake was hiding in the grass before it quickly overpowered her. It then choked her and squeezed the life out of her until she became unconscious. Her husband, M Safri, who was also working in the rubber plantation, had returned home, but he became alarmed and went looking for his wife when she did not return home in the afternoon. His search ended with him finding the snake coiled around his wife’s body and it was preparing to swallow her completely. In the now viral video doing the rounds on social media, furious locals can be seen hunting down the snake and capturing it.
