NCP (SP) leader Rohit Pawar took to X (formerly Twitter) today, October 22, and shared a video showing cash being seized in Maharashtra ahead of the assembly elections in the state. In his post, Rohit Pawar alleged that INR 25 crore are said to be given to the ruling party candidates as the first instalment for the elections. Pawar also claimed that on Monday, October 21, one of the cars carrying cash was caught in Khed-Shivapur. Alleging misuse of money power in the state, Rohit Pawar attacked the Eknath Shinde-led MahaYuti government. However, a user on X called Eknath Shinde Army said that the claim made by the NCP (SP) leader is false. "Rohit Pawar should be ashamed of misleading the public by uploading the video of 2021," the post read. Pune Rural Police Seizes INR 5 Crore During a Nakabandi at Khed Shivapur Toll.
