In the wake of Ratan Tata's passing on October 9, a WhatsApp message claiming that his pet dog, Goa, died just three days later has been debunked. Senior Police Inspector Sudhir Kudalkar took to social media to debunk these rumours after consulting with Shantanu Naidu, a close aide and friend of Tata, who confirmed that Goa is alive and well. The misleading WhatsApp message, which stated, “Sad news...Tatas pet Dog GOA DIES AFTER 3 DAYS,” was fake by Naidu. Inspector Kudalkar shared a screenshot of the misleading message and urged the public to verify facts before sharing such posts. Following Tata's state funeral, where Goa was seen bidding a heartfelt farewell, the claim about the dog's death has only added to the emotional turmoil for fans and admirers. Ratan Tata’s Pet Dog ‘Goa’ Bids Final Goodbye to Him, Know How Veteran Industrialist Found the Canine (Watch Video).
