A viral video circulating on social media, falsely claiming to show Rana Sikandar Hayat, Education Minister of Pakistani Punjab, sexually assaulting a woman, has been debunked. The video, originally filmed in Islamabad in 2021, depicts a man named Usman Mirza and his accomplices assaulting and harassing a couple. Mirza was seen hitting the man and sexually harassing the woman while forcing her to remove her clothes. Following public outrage, Islamabad Police arrested Mirza and his associates. The case was registered under several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including assault, criminal intimidation, and sexual harassment. The individual in the video is not Rana Sikandar Hayat.
