The Wire, in an article published on October 24, 2024, claimed that the PMO said it has no record of consultations on Vision Document 2047, quoting an RTI response. "The prime minister says he worked for two to five years, sought suggestions from lakhs of people, reached out to all universities and different NGOs, used AI, allocated work to officials and prepared a Vision Document for 2047. His office doesn't have a single record to show," The Wire wrote. However, the fact check unit of the Press Information Bureau, PIB Fact Check, has called the claim misleading.
