A picture going viral on social media wrongly shows a journalist as Ram Gopal Mishra, who was allegedly killed in Bahraich violence in Uttar Pradesh. Shared by the Hindu Sena on X (formerly Twitter), the post shared a picture of a Navbharat Times journalist identified as Raghavendra Shukla to be Ram Gopal Mishra. "Ram Gopal, I write about your sacrifice with my pen," the post read. However, the Navbharat Times journalist himself took to social media to debunk the fake claim. The photo of Raghvendra Shukla with a flower garland was wrongly shared as Bahraich violence victim Ram Gopal Mishra. In his post, the NBT journalist said, "This photo is not of Ram Gopal Mishra. This is my photo." He also said that picking up his picture as Ram Gopal Mishra is "criminal negligence". "Remove it from wherever it has been shared as soon as possible," Shukla stated. A few other journalists also fact check the post by the Hindu Sena and said that the man in the picture is Navbharat Times journalist Raghavendra Shukla and not Ram Gopal Mishra of Bahraich. Ram Gopal Mishra Murder: 5 Arrested Accused Sent to Judicial Custody for 14 Days After Communal Violence in Bahraich (Watch Video).
