A video has gone viral on social media with claims that the molestors who pulled the dupatta of the girl in Uttar Pradesh leading to her death have got their leg fractured after being severely beaten by the police. However, the claims are fake as the videos making the rounds are from Rajasthan. Sharing the video, IPS officer Rahul Prakash warned criminals in Rajasthan to mend their ways or face similar treatment. The accused seen in the video have been identified as Tejveer, Yuvraj and Bunty Khushal who were involved in the murder case of history-sheeter Ajay Jhamri in Bharatpur. They were injured in retaliatory firing when they tried to escape by snatching the pistol of a policeman. For those unaware, a girl from Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkarnagar lost her life after some miscreants tried to tug her dupatta causing her to fall from her bicycle on a moving road.
