However, the PIB's fact-checking division has refuted the claim, stating that it is exaggerated and misleading. They clarified that minor waterlogging occurred in an open area due to overnight rains but was promptly addressed with the use of pumps. At present, there is no waterlogging at the venue. The Public Works Department (PWD) acknowledged the issue, noting that VVIP routes and areas near the G20 venue remained unaffected.
