On Tuesday, October 10, the news of noted economist and Nobel laureate Amartya Sen's Death broke. Giving breaks to the speculations, Amartya Sen's Daughter, Nandana Deb Sen, denied the reports of his demise. Seema Chishti, Editor at The Wire, also refuted the rumours and called it "misinformation". "Misinformation, untrue. Prof Amartya Sen is well and has much to explore and share with us," Seema Chishti posted on X, formerly Twitter.
