Nitika Kumari, an employee at HSBC GSC HYD, described her traumatic experiences of being ethnically insulted while working there. She recounts in her LinkedIn post that she experienced many challenges throughout her employment, many of which resulted in panic attacks and mental health difficulties. The most recent attack on her came by a colleague, Ajmeera Ashok, who threatened to slap her so hard that she would return to Bihar. She approached HR; however, they did not take action. She let go of the situation, and just as she assumed that was the end of such instances, another coworker, Vinay Kumar Rajuldev, made objectifying remarks about her while she was taking a smoke break.
