Chhath Puja, also called Chhath Mahaparv, is an auspicious and significant four-day Hindu festival. Chhath Puja 2024 will be celebrated from November 5 – 8. Amid the celebrations, more than 200-year-old paintings of the Chhath Puja in India depicting the festival from the late 18th-early 19th century are going viral online. The Chhath Puja is one of the most sacred and ancient festivals of India and it is dedicated to Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya, who are worshipped during this time.
