Earth from space looks like an aesthetic artwork made with utmost detail. Astronaut Matthias Maurer who is undertaking his first mission for the International Space Station (ISS) shared mesmerizing images of the Arabian Peninsula. The photos of Earth reveal different shades of orange and blue and lines which look akin to brush strokes on a painting. “Seen from above, our Earth looks like a true work of art. I took these colourful pictures of the Arabian Peninsula, but I also wonder what these shapes and lines in the desert are,” Matthias wrote along with a thinking face emoticon.
