One video that struck a chord with hundreds and thousands of netizens online was that of Abhinav tearfully bidding goodbye to Lord Ganesha's idol at the time of immersion. But is that all that makes him so special to enjoy such a massive following both online and offline? Well, Abhinav Arora is 9 years old, and at this tender age, he is “India’s Youngest Spiritual Orator,” according to his official Instagram page, which is handled by his father Tarun Raj Arora. Unlike regular kids, Abhinav seems to be on a spiritual journey. He dresses like Hindu saints, wearing saffron robes, dhotis, rudraksha bead necklaces, and more. However, this is not how the young boy always lived his life. Clips of Abhinav Arora from an old advertisement have resurfaced after a YouTuber, Ankit Patel, who runs his YouTube channel ‘Only Desi’, did a special coverage on this kid.
Only Desi’s two-part coverage, 'The Visit,' showed Abhinav Arora act in the ‘Falooda Express’ ice cream ad, and it depicted him as a regular kid of his age. There’s a stark contrast between his present demeanour and past self. Unlike current times, Abhinav Arora is seen wearing t-shirts and shorts. There is no vermillion tika on his forehead, and he is also seen using a mobile phone as he thanks doctors and healthcare professionals during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Four years down the line, the times have changed a lot.
